Privacy notice

1.1. SWIFT DIGITAL TOOLS LLP is the controller of personal data used to operate AI Fanfic Generator at https://aifanficgenerator.io. Our registration number is OC459439 and our registered office is Stoney Works, 8 Stoney Lane, London, United Kingdom, SE19 3BD.

1.2. Contact contact@aifanficgenerator.io for privacy questions or requests. The service is for adults aged 18 and over.

2.1. Account data: your email address, password hash, verification and password-reset records, sign-in sessions, account settings and broad device type. We do not store your password in plain text.

2.2. Writing data: projects, chapter text, story settings, characters, imported material, AI prompts and responses, generated images, publishing metadata and saved history. Credit balances and usage records help us provide and account for AI actions.

2.3. Technical and support data: request and security logs, network information needed to deliver the site and prevent abuse, and messages you send to support. Do not include unnecessary information about yourself or other real people in stories or AI requests.

2.4. An email address and password are needed for an account. You choose what story material to submit. Without relevant story context, some AI tools cannot fulfil your request. There is currently no payment checkout on this site.

3.1. We use account and writing data to perform our contract with you: provide sign-in, store projects, process requested AI actions, account for credits and deliver service messages and support.

3.2. We rely on legitimate interests to protect accounts, prevent misuse, diagnose faults and maintain reliable services. These interests are balanced against your rights. Where processing is legally required, we rely on that legal obligation.

3.3. We do not use account registration as consent to unrelated advertising. If optional processing requires consent, we will ask separately; you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4.1. DreamHost provides the application's US hosting and email service. It processes stored application data, recipient addresses and service-email contents as needed to provide those services.

4.2. OpenRouter routes requested AI work to model providers. Requests include instructions and relevant story context; some actions need multiple passages or conversation history. Account email addresses are not automatically added to AI prompts, but personal data in your own text will be included when that text is sent.

4.3. Model providers have their own retention and data-use practices. See OpenRouter's privacy policy and its provider data policies. Do not submit sensitive personal data or confidential information you cannot authorise these providers to process.

4.4. Authorised operators may access data when necessary for support, maintenance, security or a verified privacy request. We may disclose information where legally required. We do not sell your personal data.

5.1. Our operator is registered in the United Kingdom, while hosting and email are provided in the United States. OpenRouter and its model providers may process requests outside the UK. Your data is not restricted to UK storage.

5.2. The providers' contractual safeguards include standard contractual clauses and UK transfer addenda where applicable. Their terms are available in the DreamHost data processing addendum and OpenRouter data processing agreement. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

6.1. We use cookies and browser storage needed for sign-in, security, interface preferences and the writing workflow. The sign-in session has a maximum lifetime of seven days. Browser controls let you delete cookies; blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or interrupt work.

6.2. The English site does not load the Russian site's Yandex Metrika counter and does not offer its VK or Yandex social sign-in. We currently use no optional advertising or analytics cookies on the English site.

7.1. We keep account and writing data while needed for your account and the service. Some project deletion is reversible; removing a project from the dashboard is not necessarily a request to erase all its data. Contact support for permanent account or project erasure.

7.2. Completed local application backups are retained for 14 days. Deleted information may remain in those protected backups until they expire. Security, support and usage records may be kept where needed to investigate abuse, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations, for the period appropriate to that purpose.

7.3. We use encrypted transport, password hashing and restricted service access. These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.

8.1. Depending on applicable law, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data by writing to contact@aifanficgenerator.io. We may need to verify your identity; use your account email and do not send your password.

8.2. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Tell us the processing you object to and your circumstances. You may also withdraw any optional consent you have given.

8.3. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or another competent data protection authority. Contacting us first can help us resolve the issue, but does not limit that right.

8.4. AI suggestions and automated safety checks support the writing tools. If you dispute a safety refusal or account restriction, contact us for review.

9.1. We publish the current notice with its revision date. We will bring material changes to your attention through the service or email. A new purpose requiring consent will not be introduced merely by changing this notice.
